Following the 2025 work plan of the District People's Congress Standing Committee, on June 6, the District People's Congress Standing Committee organized members of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee and some municipal and district People's Congress deputies, led by Yu Bingkai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the District People's Congress Standing Committee and Director of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee, to inspect the district's scientific and technological innovation work. Liu Jiqiang, member of the Standing Committee of the District Committee and Deputy District Head, accompanied the activity.
Following the 2025 work plan of the District People's Congress Standing Committee, on June 6th, the District People's Congress Standing Committee organized members of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee and some municipal and district People's Congress representatives, led by Yu Bingkai, the deputy secretary of the Party group and vice chairman of the District People's Congress Standing Committee and director of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee, to conduct an inspection of the district's scientific and technological innovation work. Liu Jiqiang, member of the Standing Committee of the District Committee and vice district head, accompanied the activity.
The inspection team visited three companies: Shandong Baiyiyuan Windows Co., Ltd., Shandong Hongyuan Metal Materials Co., Ltd., and Shandong Qilu Paint Co., Ltd., listened to presentations from company leaders, and learned in detail about the achievements, problems, and future work measures of the district's scientific and technological innovation work.
The inspection team fully affirmed the achievements of the district's scientific and technological innovation work. It was noted that in recent years, Dongchangfu District has closely followed the "14th Five-Year Plan" development strategy and the work deployment of the District Committee, continuously implemented the innovation-driven development strategy, continuously improved the atmosphere of scientific and technological innovation, continuously expanded the main body of scientific and technological innovation, continuously upgraded innovation platforms, continuously strengthened key technological breakthroughs, and continuously deepened collaborative innovation between industry, academia, and research. For six consecutive years, it has been selected as one of the "Top 100 National Science and Technology Innovation Districts".
The inspection team pointed out that science and technology are the foundation of a strong nation, and innovation is the soul of national progress. It is necessary to further increase publicity efforts, enhance public awareness of innovation, thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on scientific and technological innovation, strengthen the study of relevant laws and regulations, and accelerate the implementation of policies on scientific and technological innovation. It is necessary to further strengthen planning guidance, focus on the construction of a strong district in science and technology, fully gather the innovative needs of industrial development, improve efficiency in cultivating innovative entities, optimizing innovation platforms, and strengthening technological breakthroughs, and strive to achieve tangible results in creating a scientific and technological innovation ecosystem and shaping new development advantages.
